The Maleny Doctors Hub provides independent General Practices with professional business administration services, furnished suites and clinical Nursing support in an accredited primary health care facility.

We look after your Practice so you can focus on your patients!

​

New General Practices can receive the following:

  • 1 month Rent-free trial Practice occupancy; and,

  • 1 month Service-free trial Practice support.

  • 1 month of 100% retention of all billings.

 

After this trial period, new General Practices will be offered:

  • Rental Fee:  7% Gross Billings (including GST) per fortnight; +/-

  • Service Fee:  23-37% Gross Billings (including GST) per fortnight*

*  The calculation of Service Fee rates is based on trial-recorded FTE usage, Gross Billings during the trial period (annualised) and average mix or type of Practice services offered and recorded.  Fellowship level attainment and working towards or being granted additional related qualifications will be acknowledged.  The Service fee rate will be reviewed quarterly for the first year of engagement then annually thereafter.

Maleny Doctors acknowledges the disparities within the MBS/DVA rebate structures that 'incentivises' high throughput or procedural General Practices and 'disincentivises' General Practices that choose or need to undertake longer consultations with their patients and their families (i.e. trainees, new GPs, female GPs, GPs with complex or complicated chronic or concomitant issues, GP Counsellors, GPs returning from parental leave, etc.).

A tailored approach, under a universal commercial structure, is utilised to:

  • protect your freedom of location(s) of practice

  • respect your individual billings policy & provide MBS/DVA support

  • accommodate your onsite +/- remote IT access

  • program and process your urgent/non-urgent Appointments

  • process your recalls & reminders

  • support your flexible appointment structuring

  • provide all necessary Accreditation-required Policies & Procedures

  • enable access to PrimarySense support

  • provide your Practice with development insights from Cubiko data linkage +/- additional free Practice/Business support & mentoring

  • program your non-clinical time to support Professional Development, PHN support, Specialist connections, etc.

  • assist with any other requests for your Practice's processes to protect its success
